Our Staff

Wirreanda Nursery has a fantastic staff, all with various qualifications and skills. We pride ourselves on our knowledge base, and every member of our staff is a valuable asset to our team.
	Peter Worgan - Sales Manager Worgy has been with Wirreanda since 2000. He did the Certificate 4 in Parks & Gardens at Ryde, and then a Diploma of Horticulture. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, and does most of the plant sourcing and buying for the nursery.	Bill Douglass - Production Manager Bill has a Certificate 3 in Nursery at Ryde, and has been working with us since 2003. Bill sources tubes, pots them on and manages the growing area.
	Mark Cruickshank - Nursery Manager Mark has been with us for nearly 10 years! He started here in 1999 with a background in Bush Regeneration. He completed the Advanced Certificate in Urban Horticulture at Ryde, and runs the wholesale section of the nursery.	Kelly Morris - Retail Sales Kelly has been with Wirreanda since 2001. She started working in the field and soon moved over to retail. She has a Certificate 3 in Nursery, and has a particular love for Australian Native plants. If you have an indigenous plant question, Kelly is the girl to ask
	Fran Ingle-Olsen - Retail Sales Fran has been at Wirreanda since 2003, with a Certificate 3 in Parks and Gardens. Fran and Kelly make a great retail sales team Monday to Friday. Fran not only looks after the two legged customers, she also loves the four legged ones! She is responsible for the resident 'guard' 'dogs'	Steve Yoxall - Delivery Driver Steve is our delivery driver. He has many years of experience in the Horticulture industry including Nursery and Maintenance.
	Dave Brown - Retail Sales Dave has been with Wirreanda for about 10 years. He has experience in just about every area of the nursery, and now mainly concentrates on retail sales. Dave has studied Landscape Architecture, and has completed a Certificate in Horticulture at TAFE.
	Bill Elliott - Irrigation Engineer Bill has been working with us since 2002, and knows all of the ins and outs of our irrigation system. It's a mystery to the rest of us, so thank goodness for Bill	Lachlan Laurie - Retail Sales Lachlan had previously worked at Wirreanda for many years running the retail section, and is now back in retail sales. Lachlan has a Cert. 3 in Horticulture, and also teaches Bush Regeneration at TAFE.
	Luke Carey - Nursery Assistant Luke has been with us for over 3 years and works in the production side of the nursery.	Lyndal Keen - Retail Sales Lyndal had previously worked at Wirreanda for many years, and is now back in retail sales. Lyndal has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Horticulture.
	Sam Batterham - Nursery Hand Sam has been working at Wirreanda for a short time helping us out in the field while studying Landscape Architecture at UNSW.	Linden Reid - Accounts Linden has been working at Wirreanda since 1990. She was our weekend retail sales person for many years, but has now retired to the office! Linden completed an Assoc. Dip. in Landscape Science
	Julie Najdovski - Account Manager Julie has been with Wirreanda since 1990. Julie keeps the computer system running, the cash flowing, and the staff honest!	Olly, Chyna & Rocky - The Working Dogs According to some, Ollie wouldn't win any beauty contests. He is clearly a very hard worker, and forms part of the Security team here at Wirreanda. Chyna and Rocky provide security, dishwashing and scrap disposal!
